Women's Opportunities in COFA
COFA's woman's program is looking for Christian women who are strong spiritually and have teaching abilities with outdoor skills, we need instructors and leaders for the August "Women In The Wilderness" series. If you can teach one of these or all of them: fishing, camp cooking, photography, compass and GPS usage, or have other skills that you feel would help enrich a COFA event, let COFA know.
COFA is getting many requests for events for women, we want to offer programs that will be just for women, but need women to teach these skills, we know many of you women, would like to be asked to help teach and guide women in spiritual and outdoor skills, so here is our call. If your interested in being on the COFA ministry team let us know!
We are also looking for spiritual mentors who want to help write, leadership programs for the woman's ministry teams. These materials will be used for developing leaders for COFA's national, regional, and local programs. These positions are volunteer, if you have a gift of teaching, or leadership and would like to use them in outdoor ministry, contact COFA.
The COFA board knows the Lord is directing the ministry team to incorporate women in COFA's outdoors programs. For women this is a great way to share your faith using the outdoors as a ministry tool, we at COFA know how important it is to share our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to every man or woman we meet in the field or waters across this great country. This is a fact: So many Christians fear sharing their faith, in fact it almost paralyzes the strong at heart. Bring a family member, friend to a COFA event and let the COFA staff share the word, we are trained to do that, in a way that is not threatening, yet very concise.
